Message from the CEO
Thank you for visiting our site! GradSave is an online college savings registry that helps parents, family and friends save for a child’s future education. GradSave makes it easy for you, your family and friends to give the lasting gift of an education in lieu of traditional gifts at events such as birthdays, Christmas or other holidays. Marcos Cordero
CEO and Chief GradSaver
Marcos Cordero, CEO and Chief Gradsaver. Prior to GradSave, Marcos had a successful career in management consulting, primarily in the Strategy and Operations Group at Deloitte Consulting, where he advised a variety of Fortune 500 clients. Marcos holds a BS in mechanical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is quoted frequently on college savings and crowdfunding articles. When he’s not busy leading the GradSave troops he is an avid beach volleyball player.
How GradSave Got Started
GradSave was inspired by Irma Grondin, a successful corporate attorney at a global law firm and mom when she realized that she didn’t want any more “stuff” for her newborn daughter. Instead, she thought, “why not have our family and friends share in our child’s special occasion by giving them a gift that would last a lifetime. Even a $10 gift will grow to so much more when it’s time to go to college.”
And GradSave was born.
